| Solidex
works with its customers to develop products
in a number of different ways. In
some cases, customers have complete engineering
capabilities in-house and provide a complete
set of documentation including drawings,
test specifications and quality procedures.
Sometimes and engineering prototype is also
supplied. In this case Solidex can turn
around a first prototype very quickly. Once
the prototype and documentation are approved,
production can follow shortly afterwards.
Occasionally Solidex is given
the task of taking an existing product and
putting it into production in a new factory.
Generally production samples and full documentation
are provided and again, Solidex can submit
a new first article sample for approval
in a very short time.
Some customers prefer to
only develop the product idea and provide
a ¡§napkin¡¨ design or Industrial Design rendering
with some target specifications. In this
case, Solidex takes full advantage of its
in-house design and prototyping resources
to develop a product to fit the customer¡¦s
requirements. This may include a few iterations
of prototypes, but process can go very quickly.
Solidex uses the latest in design tools
including Finite Element Analysis for both
structural and magnetic designs, acoustic
simulation for drivers, crossovers and systems,
and the latest in measurement and laboratory
equipment.
There is no project
too complex or too unique for our engineering
team to handle.
